Royal Air Maroc has set a date for joining oneworld.
The oneworld airline alliance, of which British Airways is a key member, sent out a media release on new developments last week.
The one thing worth sharing is that the date for Royal Air Maroc to join oneworld is now pencilled in for H1 2020. This is still vague but better than nothing. This will be the first new airline to join the alliance for six years.
Royal Air Maroc will open up a lot of options for reaching Africa on Avios albeit with an aircraft change in Morocco. It also opens up new options to New York, Washington, Montreal, Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.
