Hilton is running an India and South East Asia hotel sale

Hilton is currently running a dedicated sale for its hotels in India and South East Asia.  More specifically, it covers India, Singapore, Thailand, The Maldives and Malaysia.

Until 27th October you can get up to 30% off the Best Flexible or Bed & Breakfast rate at selected hotels.

For Indian hotels, stays must be completed by 11th January 2020. Included are for example the Conrad Pune and the Conrad Bengaluru (pictured below).

For South East Asia properties, stays must be completed by 30th June 2020.

As we always say with Hilton sales ….. basing the ‘30% saving’ on the Best Available Bed & Breakfast rate is not exactly fair. Sale rates are non refundable so it is cheeky to compare them to a refundable rate.  That said, these deals do usually offer a saving on the ‘advanced purchase’ price. Full pre-payment needs to be made at time of booking.

Did you know that the Virgin Atlantic credit cards are a great way of earning Hilton Honors points? Two Virgin Points can be converted into three Hilton Honors points. The Virgin Atlantic cards are the only Visa or Mastercard products in the UK which can indirectly earn Hilton Honors points. You can apply here.

You can also earn Hilton Honors points indirectly with:

• American Express Gold (20,000 bonus Amex points)
• American Express Rewards Credit Card (10,000 bonus Amex points)

and for small business owners:

• American Express Business Gold (20,000 bonus Amex points)
• American Express Business Platinum (40,000 bonus Amex points)

The conversion rate from American Express to Hilton points is 1:2.
