  1. It doesn’t work, I installed the app from the button on the link and it’s offering a 14 day trial, and a 50% discount on premium.

    • OK, turns out if you reject the 14 day free trial when the app opens, then the 1 year premium subscription is applied.

      • I did this and still basic, trying to flog me premium.

  4. Poor app. None of the features mentioned in the article.

    Shows KM instead of miles.

    I think I will stick with Tripit.

    • It really isn’t rocket science to switch to settings and change the distance measurement Thomas.

    I think i have 1 yr premium – it seems to tell me both that i have a 1 yr subscription and that it will charge me in 14 days. We shall see.

    • Hi Daniel, the 1-year offer applies automatically. If you signed up for the 14 days trial there would be a charge since the offer and 14-day trial (with the subscription after it) are the different systems that enable the premium content. To cancel the 14-days trial: 1) For iOS go to the Profile -> Manage Subscription -> you will be dropped to the iTunes and then cancel it 2) For Android go the Play Store -> Left menu -> Subscription -> Find there App in the Air and cancel it.   8. Not particularly impressed. I file emails away with labels (Gmail) and it doesn’t seem to be picking those up for future flights. I also have multiple calendars on Google, so not everything is being picked up that way either. Can’t see a way of changing which calendar the app gets the data from after initial selection.

    Feels like too much hassle to forward/import all missing flights manually – it automatically got several of my past flights but nothing for the future!

  10. Never heard of these guys. Weird how they claim to have 5.5M subscribers when they’ve got less than 5k reviews on the Android app store.
    Is this really better than TripIt?

  11. Not the first time HFP has promoted something that’s not quite as easy as promised to get working! I’m sticking with TripIt.

    • Unfortunately, despite our best efforts, these things are largely outside of our control although we do try our best to guarantee that they work properly when the article goes live!

      • yes but it’s inside your control to decide what you promote on your site – the sign up screen with the disclaimer text so small that it looks like a dashed line is a giveaway that they don’t want you to know what they’re doing with your data.
