We are very excited to announce a brilliant prize competition courtesy of our friends at Qatar Airways.  It is, depending on where the winner wants to go, potentially the biggest flight giveaway we have ever done.

You could win two Business Class tickets from any UK Qatar Airways airport (London Heathrow, London Gatwick, Birmingham, Manchester, Edinburgh and Cardiff) to almost any destination on the Qatar Airways network*

Given that Qatar Airways has an extensive network of destinations, this means Bangkok, Tokyo, the Maldives or even Sydney could be on the agenda if you win this fabulous prize.

Qatar Airways A350 Doha

It’s very straightforward to enter.  Simply fill out the Gleam app at the bottom of this post (or by clicking through to the Gleam website if it doesn’t show on your device) and give us your name and email address.  That’s it.

You will get a second entry to the competition if you sign up to Qatar Airways’ newsletter.  As well as doubling your chances of winning, signing up to the Qatar Airways email list means that you’ll be one of the first to hear about Qatar Airways’ latest sales and best available fares.  To get the second entry, simply tick the relevant box on the entry form to sign up to their newsletter.  You can unsubscribe at any time.

The competition ends at midnight on 29th February 2020.

The full competition terms and conditions can be found by clicking ‘Terms and Conditions’ but here’s a couple to note.  The rules in the entry widget take precedence over this summary in case of any confusion.

The prize consists of one pair of Business Class return tickets on Qatar Airways operated flights from any UK Qatar Airways airport (London Heathrow, London Gatwick, Birmingham, Manchester, Edinburgh and Cardiff) to any destination on the Qatar Airways network

* The following destinations are excluded: South America, United States, Canada and Europe

Entries are limited to one submission form per person

Black out travel periods apply, including but not limited to 3rd-19th April 2020 and 22nd-31st May 2020

The winner and companion must be 18 years or older and residents of the United Kingdom

You must be physically present in the United Kingdom or Channel Islands for the website to accept your entry

The winner must be one of the two passengers

This prize must be booked by 31st March 2020 and after this date the prize is no longer valid and the ticket cannot be extended

Travel must be completed by 30th June 2020

Best of luck.

About Qatar Airways

We’ve always enjoyed travelling with Qatar Airways due to its excellent in-flight experience, but you don’t need to take our word for it!  Your fellow HFP readers voted Qsuite as the ‘Best Business Class Seat and Service” in the Head for Points 2019 Travel & Loyalty Awards (a picture from our winner’s dinner is below).

Qsuite, with its acclaimed design and fully closing door, has become a real game-changer.  You can find out more about Qsuite on the Qatar Airways website here.

Qatar 2 HFP Awards 2019

Rob wrote an extensive review of Qsuite back in October (read it here) and we’ve also covered the herringbone business class seat found on Boeing 787-8, A380 and part of the A350 fleet.

Qatar Airways flies to over 160 destinations so the network is very extensive.  If you win our competition you will be spoilt for choice.  There are several interesting new routes starting in 2020 including Siem Reap (Cambodia), Osaka (Japan) and top of my own list, Cebu (the Philippines).

You’d think that all of these accolades could come with sky high prices.  However, there are excellent deals to be found with Qatar Airways, particularly for anyone willing to start outside the UK.  Rhys wrote about Qatar Airways’ low Business Class fares from Oslo a few weeks ago and these are typical of what is out there if you are willing to dig around.

You can visit the Qatar Airways website to find out the latest offers and destinations.

Good luck.

For a travel blog, it’s a little annoying that you can’t enter your competitions from outside the UK! Surely a large proportion of your readers are outside the UK at any given point!

  • Robert perkin says:

Love to fly from Cardiff and not have to drive to London. 125 miles
