What are the peak and off-peak calendar dates for redeeming Avios points in 2021?
Iberia still hasn’t officially released the peak and off peak dates for reward flights for all of 2021 – except for the dates which are already bookable – but we now have some clarity on what the calendar will look like next year.

Point Me To the Plane did some digging and uncovered peak dates for 2021. We have turned this into a neat little table, below, which gives a better overview of the entire year’s peak and off peak availability.
There are two things to remember:
This calendar only applies to Iberia. British Airways and Aer Lingus have their own peak and off-peak dates. You can see the British Airways peak and off peak calendar for 2021 here and the Aer LIngus peak and off peak calendar for 2021 here. This is useful because you will often find that when BA is peak during UK half-term school holidays, Iberia (and occasionally Aer Lingus) are running off-peak fares.
The Iberia calendar applies wherever you book an Iberia redemption, whether it is on ba.com, iberia.com or avios.com. Similarly, if you try to book an British Airwas redemption on iberia.com it will NOT follow the dates below.
All redemptions on partner airlines such as Qatar Airways are charged on a separate chart at peak date rates, 100% of the time
Note that peak dates are in yellow whilst off peak is in white. Click to enlarge:

Unlike the British Airways and Aer Lingus, the Iberia chart is pretty fragmented.
Whilst Spanish and British school holidays vary, Iberia’s peak dates cover the big holidays including summer and Christmas.
There are some exceptions. February half term is peak for British Airways but off-peak with Iberia, as is the majority of the Easter break, May half term and October half term.
The only UK bank holiday weekend during an off-peak time is the second May bank holiday, 29th-31st May.
This means that Iberia redemptions are cheaper during those holidays, and you are likely to save on taxes and fees, too. You can see how Iberia redemptions charge lower taxes and fees here.
As a reminder, here is the peak and off-peak Avios pricing chart for Iberia flights:
