My previous day room bookings at Sofitel LHR T5 have earned Accor points. The new landing page appears to feed into the normal Accor booking flow I’ve used in the past, and earned points with.

Amy recommendations for decent Best Western accommodation in the South? A nice country home / manor house or golf club/resort type for a weekend away?

    • Steve says:

At first glance wondering if the Burnham Beeches or Quy Mill Hotels are any good (or indeed if they’ll even be in the sale)

  • Roger says:

Applied for Status Match this morning using the BW form that links from the HFP article. Automated reply saying that the BW Rewards team is currently furloughed and emails are not being answered. There was an alternative contact email address given for the BW team in Milan, so I have forwarded my form there. Fingers crossed.

    • ChrisM says:

I renewed my status match about six weeks ago and received the same message. IIRC I got a response the morning after requesting it saying that it had been done.

    • Roger says:

Update: The BW Milan team replied within a couple of hours confirming my status match. Very efficient

    Virgin related.

Cancelled flights to Florida (for this November) back in Mid May, finally got the refunds last week.

  • Simon D says:

Morning. Given that today is the first of October does anyone know what the IHG cancellation-re/booking policy is going to shift to please? (the current one expired yesterday).

I have a fully cancelable room booked for the end of this month in a place that is likely to lockdown but I could get a much better room for less money if I rebooked. However the current terms require cancellations quite a way in advance.

    Thanks

    • ChrisC says:

What are the exact cancellation terms?

A phrase like ‘quite a way in advance’ is meaningless.

Most IHG cancellation periods are either the day before or 2 weeks before.

I’ve not seen any that require a longer period then that.

I am trying to book 4 tickets to menorca on points next summer. One way is stated everywhere 7500 peak.
When i go to book the tickets it is coming up as 96000 for 4 return tickets plus £136
Surley it should be 60 000 plus £35 per person flight saver.
Is there something i am missing or getting wrong.
    Thanks philip

    • Rob says:

Click ‘show other prices’ and that option will appear.

      • Philip says:
