There are now over 20 different hotel groups offering cashback deals to American Express cardholders.

We summarised most Amex hotel cashback deals in this article but new offers continue to emerge.

Accor was the biggest name not to have joined in so far. They finally crumbled yesterday, and you may see an offer of £50 cashback on £350 spend showing on one of your cards.

Accor American Express cashback offer

This is noticeably weaker than most of the other deals around, but clearly it is better than nothing.

Importantly, you can tie it in with the generous Accor bonus points offer launched last week. You receive €10 of bonus points for every midweek stay and €20 for every weekend stay, however short or cheap. You can register for that promotion here.

Our article on what we think Accor Live Limitless points are worth is here.

The £50 cashback deal is for stays completed by 28th February 2021. This is a long time – most of the deals end on 31st December – which partly compensates for the lower return.

The list of participating Accor hotels is here. Note that none of the budget brands, such as ibis, are included. Sofitel Heathrow Terminal 5 is included.
