Very generous ‘bonus Avios’ offer from eBay

If you have the Nectar app installed, you have a good chance of seeing a very generous eBay offer this weekend.
You may be targetted for a ‘spend £5, get 1,000 Nectar points’ deal.
1,000 Nectar points convert into 625 Avios, so this is a decent offer.
All you need to do is find something on eBay for close to £5, excluding postage. There are a lot of booksellers on eBay, so if you were targetting a particular new paperback you’ll probably find it – and often cheaper than at Amazon.
Depending on how you look at it, you’re either buying something you need for £5 and getting 625 Avios with it, or paying £5 for 625 Avios and getting a free item.
You may also see an offer in the Nectar app for ‘100 points for every Nectar partner you transact with’. This includes eBay and so should double up.
