    I hope they don’t move them back, for me that means flying into T5 on a domestic flight and instead of just going to a lounge, it’s get on a bus, go to T3 then through security to get into departures. I’d rather all of BA’s flights go from one place.

      I’d rather have all terminals connected airside and no security if one has passed through security in “trusted” countries.

          I doubt its the concept the airports can’t grasp but rather the logistics especially once its built.

  I am going to Prague over Easter and the booking states the flight departs from T3 – is this now the case? I know everything was leaving from T5 at one point. It would be lovely to be able to visit the CX lounge again!

    Yes, some short-haul flights now leave from T3. Currently in T3 and have another flight from T3 in February. I hope all my short-haul flights leave from T3 from now on. The lounges are miles better and it’s really hard to decide where to go.

    If your book states the flight is going from T3 then it’s probably a safe bet that it’s leaving from T3

      Yes but it’s BA and there’s still 3 months to go. I’m not even counting on it leaving from LHR, let alone a particular terminal!

        Fair enough but I’m not sure anyone here will know better than what your booking says or has a crystal ball that can predict where a specific flight will depart from in the months time

    Prague leaves from T3 – it always used to pre-Covid, not sure why (same as Las Vegas). I flew there on 28/12 out of T3 and got to enjoy the Centurion lounge briefly (excellent – although closed at 6pm so I missed the food but squeezed in a couple of very good cocktails!) and the Galleries lounge (poor). Normally they depart from the very nearby gates (5 min walk) and a very short taxi if on westerly departure.

  Which T3 lounge has the best area for working on a laptop? I vaguely recall the CX J part has some booths but not the F section? Might be entirely mistaken.

    Amex Centurion has excellent working areas and also phone booths. The only problem is maximum stay is 3hr before the flight.

  Hi I have just changed one of my bookings to the new rate to save points but when I cancelled my original booking the points have yet to reappear in my account, how long does this take as I thought all booking made with points were refundable. The booking is not until April.

    You need to call Radisson CS, otherwise they’ll never reappear. They are refundable, but some accounts have an issue when the split took place last year so the points are never returned. Took me 5-10 min on the phone to sort it out yesterday, but when I cancelled my Maldives stay last year, I had to wait for nearly two weeks.

    Last time I cancelled reward night, the points were returned automatically. Can’t remember how long it takes. A couple of days I would think.

      I am one of those people who finds the BA bacon rolls bizarrely addictive. I accept that there is no logical reason for this.

        I agree, especially when washed down with champagne. The saltiness goes so well! Ditto smoked salmon and ready salted crisps (also on a bread roll, together if you like) 🤣

      Andrew – you know you can take the bacon from other rolls and have a many pieces as you want, right? Also bacon and omelette . With champagne, obviously. Wait – have they brought the champagne back now?!

        It’s true, and I have done that in the grim old days when I only had access to GC lounges, thankfully GF is as basic as I have to get these days and the bacon and the rolls are separated for you to construct your own at your chosen ratio.

    We did an article late last year when it reopened. You could also use ba.com or the Heathrow site to pull up a list of departures today from T3.
