Earn 3,500 Virgin Points when you buy annual travel insurance

Virgin Money has teamed up with Virgin Red to offer 3,500 Virgin Points if you take out annual multi-trip travel insurance with Virgin Money.
You can find details of the policy on the Virgin Money website here. However, in order to get the 3,500 Virgin Points, you need to take out your policy by clicking through from the Virgin Red app or website.
The policy covers you for up to 94 days of worldwide trips, depending on which of the three versions you take out.

The company claims that “virtually all” pre-existing conditions are covered and you can take out a policy up to the age of 80.
You will receive your points within 45 days of taking out your policy. You will be emailed a voucher code which can be redeemed inside the Virgin Red app.
Because insurance pricing varies hugely between individuals it is impossible to say if the cover is good value in itself. However, with 3,500 Virgin Points worth around £35 if used for a long-haul premium flight – or £17.50 if used for bits and pieces via the Virgin Red app – it should be particularly competitive for people who would naturally receive a low quote.
Remember that you must apply via Virgin Red and not directly via Virgin Money.
