EDIT: We managed to sell out all of the tickets within 30 minutes! Apologies to those who missed out. If you got tickets, I hope you have a great day.

I just received an email from IHG telling me that tickets for some top tennis tournaments across the UK have been dropped onto the relaunched IHG Access platform this morning.

If you move quickly, you can get a great deal. Pairs of tickets start at 1,000 IHG One Rewards points!

I have cut and pasted what I was sent to save time:

Birmingham Classic: A 250-level women’s tennis tournament on the WTA Tour held at the Edgbaston Priory Club in Edgbaston, Birmingham, United Kingdom. You can find more information on the tournament here

Limited tickets available for only 1,000 IHG One Reward Points for Friday 17th June and Sunday, 19th June.

cinch Championships: The tournament is an annual event on the ATP Tour and one of the most popular and longest-running tennis events. Established in 1889 and held at The Queen’s Club in West Kensington each June, it is consistently supported by the best singles and doubles players of the men’s game. You can find more information on the tournament here

Limited tickets available for 15,000 IHG One Reward Points for Friday 17th June and 20,000 IHG One Reward Points for Sunday 19th June.

Eastbourne International: The Eastbourne International is a tennis tournament on the Women’s Tennis Association Tour and the ATP Tour held at the Devonshire Park Lawn Tennis Club, Eastbourne, United Kingdom. Held since 1974, it is classified as a WTA Premier tournament on the WTA Tour and an ATP Tour 250 series on the ATP Tour. You can find more information on the tournament here

Limited tickets available for only 1,000 IHG One Reward Points for Friday 24th June and Saturday 25th June.”

For clarity, these are NOT auctions. 1,000 IHG points – which I value at £4 – is ‘buy it now’ pricing for two tickets for Eastbourne or Birmingham.

“EDIT: We managed to sell out all of the tickets within 30 minutes!”

…And you know that this feat was exclusively HfP how exactly??

    • Rob says:

Because IHG sent me a note to say they’d uploaded the tickets, I had the article up within 10 minutes and they were gone 30 minutes later.

I don’t think you quite understand the volumes of stuff that HfP can shift. We once sold £150,000 of hotel rooms off one article.

Seems you have attracted a much younger readership recently. The type who are “Internet knows its alls” time on their hands to argue any point and got their little fingers ready to Google anythin to support their case. They ruin many conversations with their boring behaviour

      • Craig says:

Kudos Rob, long time reader & infrequent commenter; wasn’t intending to be narky although I recognise it was mildly so…

Grateful to be referenced as a – younger readership know it all type though; ruiner of conversations with boring behaviours… lol

  • Nick says:

Also, upcoming soon, multiple packages, including VIP, for both Reading Festival & Leeds Festival.
