British Airways has finally added flights from London Gatwick to Paphos in Cyprus for Summer 2023.

I’d had a number of reader emails about this so it is good to see them up for sale and redemption at last.

Avios availability is wide open if you book now. The Summer timetable starts in late March 2023 and will continue until the end of October.

Here is a SeatSpy screenshot from this morning, for days with two Club Europe business class seats. Obviously Economy will be wide open too.

In total, BA has released four business class and eight economy seats per flight.

Paphos Avios availability

Flights operate six days per week, excluding Wednesdays.

Flights times move around from day to day, but always in the same window. A typical flight would leave Gatwick at 12.40, arriving in Paphos at 19.25. The return leaves Paphos at 20.25, arriving at 23.15 into Gatwick.

You can currently book as far out as 20th August 2023 due to BA opening up seats at 355 prior to departure.

And another route I’ve been waiting on too, Catania. Thanks for the heads up

  • Doubgb says:

HER, DLM and FAO also loaded.

  • Wally1976 says:

And Dalaman which I’d have been interested in if I hadn’t already booked on the LHR flights! LHR is more convenient for us but flights are only Fri/Sat/Sun.

  • MadeUpName says:

    And Thessaloniki!

  • VinZ says:

I don’t understand why OB seats are not available yet… would be good to understand how that availability works compared to normal avios redemptions. There’s plenty of availability with avios but none with OB points at present.

    • malteser says:

I just booked using OB on a route that was released today for June. But OB doesn’t have the same availability as Avios. In fact for August same route outbound on both but coming back only on avios

      • VinZ says:

I know they have different availabilities, I’d be curious to know when reward seats are released tho… Shame seat spy is not set up for that yet.

  • Richie says:

I haven’t spotted Gatwick to Rhodes yet.

  • Alan says:

BA seem to be adding LGW to everywhere apart from domestic connections – I know people that have just booked trips for next year with KLM and VS (albeit BA LHR domestic connections) instead. They really need to reinstate these links.
