Qatar Airways launches a discount for American Express cardholders

Qatar Airways has launched a new promotion for UK American Express cardholders.

The discount is ‘up to’ 12% off Economy and Business Class tickets. The discounts are off base fares, before taxes, so the proportionate saving is bigger in premium cabins.

You need to book by 31st December for travel between 15th January and 31st October 2023.

You must use promo code AMEX22 when booking.

A list of participating destinations is in the T&C on the promo website. Most of the key routes seem to be there although unhelpfully it only names destinations by their airport code.

You need to stay away for at least seven days and blackout periods apply.

Whilst you’re unlikely to get a 12% saving in reality, it is obviously better than nothing if you were planning a booking.
