Aspire lounge at Bristol Airport may leave Priority Pass

Whilst this has not been officially confirmed, two separate HfP readers – both regular users of the Aspire lounge at Bristol International Airport – have been told that the lounge is leaving Priority Pass.
The lounge has, apparently, signed a deal with On The Beach to provide access to holidaymakers flying from Bristol.
The limited capacity of the lounge means that there will no longer be space to accept Priority Pass cardholders as well. I assume that this also impacts DragonPass.
At present, the airport website simply says:
“Please note: The Aspire Lounge will temporarily close from 31st March 2023 to allow for an upgrade to the exisiting facilities. We currently have no date for the lounge to re-open.”
When it does reopen, you should not expect to get in with a Priority Pass.

HSBC Premier World Elite Mastercard gets you get a free LoungeKey card, allowing you access to the LoungeKey network. Guests are charged at £20 although it may be cheaper to pay £60 for a supplementary credit card for your partner.
