Trendy capsule hotel chain citizenM has brought back a free 3-month trial of mycitizenM+, its paid-for membership plan.
citizenM already has a free loyalty programme, mycitizenM, but you don’t earn points. Instead members get access to a range of offers including a best price guarantee and refer-a-friend benefits.
However, citizenM has recently introduced a subscription element to the programme called mycitizenM+. Subscribers get a number of additional guaranteed benefits which we will look at below.
The mycitizenM+ subscription costs £9 per month. However, citizenM is offering a 3-month free trial of the service when you use the code CITIZENPLUS3.
mycitizenM+ members get benefits which are genuinely useful:
- an extra 10% off
- guaranteed room (48 hours notice required)
- free late check out & a premium view
- ‘first in queue’ chat service
Late check-out usually costs £29 to non mycitizenM+ members. 10% off a room costing £269 (the starting price for citizenM Tower of London) saves you £26.90. This means that in just one stay you could recoup the cost of five months membership.
Your guaranteed late check out is until 2pm, so if you have a late flight back, or are on a weekend break, you can have a leisurely morning at the hotel without the pressure of checking out before noon.
citizenM now has 28 properties, with recently opened hotels in London Victoria (see our review here, image below), Miami and Seattle.
