Get VIP tickets to an (orchestral) BST Hyde Park concert from just 1,000 Accor points per pair

Accor Live Limitless, the loyalty programme for Novotel, Sofitel, Ibis, Mercure, Fairmont etc, has been offering tickets for the BST concerts in Hyde Park (search for ‘hyde’) for some weeks. We even gave away two pairs in a reader competition last month.

(Accor has just announced that it has renewed its BST partnership for 2024. You may want to squirrel some points away to redeem for tickets next year, even if you don’t have a balance now.)

Packages for the big name concerts tend to start around 20,000 Accor Live Limitless points, which is a decent chunk to be fair.

However, there is now a way to experience a VIP package at BST Hyde Park from just 1,000 Accor Live Limitless points for two people. These are only worth around €20 usually.

All Things Orchestral

On Friday 23rd June, BST Hyde Park will see something a little different – a concert by the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra. Alfie Boe is confirmed as one of the guest performers.

There are two packages you can book, with each valid for two people:

The ALL – Accor Live Limitless VIP Terrace (1,500 Accor points)

  • Access to The ALL VIP Terrace – a tiered, partially covered standing grandstand with incredible views of the famous Great Oak Stage
  • Dedicated Terrace entrance and early entry up to 1hr before the main gates open
  • Access to the American Express VIP Summer Garden – an exclusive area offering VIP bars, premium food outlets, additional comfortable seating, separate toilet facilities and cloakroom

Diamond VIP Experience (1,000 Accor points)

  • Watch headliners take to the stage up close from the VIP Diamond View area
  • Arrive in style with a dedicated entrance for Diamond VIP Experience customers
  • The VIP Diamond View is a dedicated premium standing viewing area with unrivalled views of all the Great Oak Stage performances, allowing you to leave and return between the VIP Diamond View into the American Express VIP Summer Garden and general admission area as you wish
  • Enjoy access to the American Express VIP Summer Garden – an exclusive area offering VIP bars, premium food outlets, additional comfortable seating, separate toilet facilities and cloakroom

You can book tickets via the Accor Experiences site here (search ‘hyde’).

If you don’t have any Accor points, standard tickets for the concert are available for just £9 per person. Diamond VIP packages are £40 per person and VIP Terrace tickets are £45 per person.

The start time is given as 4pm but I’m not sure how this relates to gates opening or the show actually getting underway.

Are there any wanys to get accor points that arent staying at the hotels or which arent terrible conversion rates?

    • Rob says:

      No

    • James Vickers says:

Very easy to get them from doing erewards and club opinions surveys have saved loads doing this now. I think they give away 600 accor points for your first one which usually credit in a few days.

Not able to redeem – error 2000051603. Anyone got round this? Not sure if prices are higher than shown? Some screens I see +2,500 (terrace) and +2,000 (diamond). I don’t have 3,000+ so that might be it?

    • Rob says:

It was 2-3,000 but they cut the price to 1,000 late last week.

  • Kevin C says:

I currently have 21 Accor points because I still haven’t had a bonus through for booking a ride, etc.

So I looked up premium prices on AXS/Ticketmaster

Gold Circle – £8.95 per ticket

Diamond VIP – £39.85 per ticket

ALl VIP Terrace – £45.45 per ticket.

Just booked, great use of my 1,001 Accor points.
    Thanks for the heads up.
