I ate a Greggs sausage roll once. Once.

  • MKB says:

The LNER app claim webform says you must be over 18 and requires you to enter a date if birth. Does anyone know how to enter the date without scrolling back through 12×18 months? Doesn’t seem right possible on an Android phone. Crazy web design.

    • MKB says:

Apologies for typos there. Why can’t I delete/edit?

    • Rob says:

If you click the printed date (top left of the date box) it opens up a scrolly wheel. I had the same thought as you initially.

      • MKB says:

Not on my Android phone sadly. They’ve even disabled the Paste option.

        • PB says:

Click on the *year* at the the very top. Then you’ll get a scroll wheel.

    • MKB says:

Thanks PB – that works. The year is indeed clickable. (The date on the next line that Rob referenced isn’t though.)

  • Drolma-la says:

Maybe it’s a targeted perk. Not a sausage in my LNER Perks.

  • Doommonger says:

Does it specify, whether you’ll get a Weiner or a jumbo Cumberland? It makes a difference you know.

  • BA Flyer IHG Stayer says:

    Just commpingon my sausage roll.

Thanks for thisRob. Until you posted I had no idea LNER offered perks like this.

I’ve got 20% off Molton Brown as well on my app

    • Skywalker says:

I’ve got the 20% off MB in my app as well – just tried to use it, but unfortunately it doesn’t work for me (and that’s choosing full price/non-sale items etc) – maybe there was another instruction I missed.

  • TimM says:

I have never had a Greggs sausage roll – I know, I haven’t lived. This free trial will establish collecting all those Virgin Points was worthwhile after all.
