Earn 4 Avios per £1 spent at Bicester Village – and which travel partner is best?
Links on Head for Points may support the site by paying a commission. See here for all partner links.
Bicester Village, the luxury outlet shopping destination in Oxfordshire, is running a special Avios offer with Qatar Airways.
Qatar Airways Privilege Club members will earn quadruple Avios when shopping at Bicester Village until 31st August.
You can find full details on the Qatar Airways website here.

The standard British Airways Avios rate at Bicester Village is 5 Avios per £4 spent, whilst the standard Qatar Airways Avios rate is 1 Avios per £1 spent. Getting 4 Avios per £1 is clearly a major improvement.
You do not need to claim your miles in each individual store you visit. Instead, simply hold on to your receipts until the end of your shopping trip.
Once you’re done shopping for the day, go to the Village Welcome or Tourist Information Centre and present your Privilege Club card (or proof of membership) plus shopping receipts to collect your Avios.
Alternatively, you can use the e-redemption service. You can email a copy of your receipts to Bicester Village and they will ensure that your Avios are credited to your account. You can find out more on their website here.
Once the Avios have arrived in your Qatar Airways Privilege Club account, you can move them across to British Airways following the instructions here.
Don’t forget to check your American Express cards for any Bicester Village cashback offers too – there is usually something available.
What is the best Bicester Village travel partner?
Oddly, and I only just realised this after many years, the most generous Bicester Village travel partner may be hotel programme Accor Live Limitless. See here for details.
As you can see, the standard earning rate is 3 Accor Live Limitless points per £1 spent. As 1 Accor point = 2 Eurocents off your next hotel stay (albeit redeemed in chunks of 2,000 points) you’re getting roughly 5% back.
This is roughly equal to the value you get during this Qatar Airways promotion, but if you’re at Bicester at a time when there are no Avios offers running then I think the Accor option is tempting.
