Marriott Bonvoy has released a new batch of tickets for its box at the O2 Arena in London.

If you’ve never been, this is a great way to see a concert – or at least it is about as good as you can get in the aircraft hangar that is the O2.

I finally got to visit the new suite – it moved during the pandemic – for a recent Elton John concert along with some HfP readers, and I can confirm that you are now nearer the stage than you were. The drinks and ‘comfort food’ hot buffet were also good.

The real value of the suite is the ability to wander in and out at will. Dull song comes along? There is no problem nipping out to the loo or crashing out on a sofa to check your emails!

Here are the new concerts you can book:

  • 50 Cent, 11th November – 50,000 points for two
  • Rema, 14th November – 40,000 points for two
  • Queens of the Stone Age, 15th November – 40,000 points for two
  • Trevor Noah, 23rd November – 40,000 points for two

Don’t forget Madonna

The auctions for the suite seats for the Madonna concerts are still on-going – they finish on 25th September. The concerts are on 15th, 17th and 18th October.

At the time of writing, the lowest bid for two tickets across any of the concerts was 85,000 Marriott Bonvoy points.

Save your points for the Madonna Auction. She’s the worst artist I’ve ever seen live!

My wife was the biggest fan before we saw her at the O2, Her perfomance ruined it for her. She couldn’t sing to sav her life. We nearly left half way through.

  • Firsttotheleft says:

We saw Roxy Music there at the Amex Platinum lounge and box seats. It was a pretty great experience for a massive venue. Stayed at the IHG hotel overnight which made it even more convenient with the private passageway they provide as well. All in all a low stress and luxurious way to see an old favorite.

  • Hilda M says:

Oh dear – I’m currently top bidder on one Madonna package 🤨 Should have checked the comments first ! Hopefully it will be a good production, should I get the tickets and I was able to use some of my huge stash of points to book two rooms next door at the IC.

  • Doommonger says:

I saw Madge in the confessions tour which was camp as hell and a really good gig in London , it was 15 years ago though.

  • yorkieflyer says:

Roundhay park 87 was the deal. Not sure I understand the very British desire to look over our shoulders all the time for greatness lost, the old codgers wheeling it out one more time on their zimmer frames epitomises it for me
