Qatar Airways has joined the American Express cashback party, adding to recent offers from Etihad and United Airlines.

You will receive £300 cashback when you spend £2,000 with Qatar Airways by 6th November.

You need to be targeted for this offer by American Express – it will appear on your statement page in the website or app – and you need to click ‘Save To Card’ to register.

Get £300 American Express cashback with Qatar Airways

Here’s the small print:

  • you must book by 6th November
  • you must depart from a UK airport
  • you must book via the Qatar Airways website
  • cumulative spending counts
  • all travel classes count

If you are a regular HfP reader you will know that – as well as offering an excellent business class product, especially if you get a Qsuite aircraft – flights with Qatar Airways earn Avios and British Airways Executive Club tier points.

In fact, flights with Qatar Airways can be more lucrative for tier points than a BA flight due to the aircraft change in Doha. Fly to Singapore in business class, for example, and you earn 560 tier points return (4 x 140 tier points legs). Fly on British Airways and you’d only earn 320 tier points.

You can book on the Qatar Airways website here.
