New Amex hotel cashback deals launched with Four Seasons and Melia

Some interesting new travel-related cashback offers appeared on American Express cards yesterday.

As always, you need to see if you are targeted by going to the ‘Offers’ section of the Amex app or website for each card that you hold, including supplementary cards. You need to click ‘Save To Card’ to register.

Four Seasons

You will get £150 cashback on a £750+ transaction by 31st December. Participating hotels are Geneva, Milan, Madrid, Florence, London x 2, Hampshire (below) and Megeve x 2.

Interesting new Amex cashback deals launched with Four Seasons Hampshire

If you making a Four Seasons booking, you’d be crazy not to see what additional benefits you can get via Emyr Thomas, our hotel booking partner, who is an official Four Seasons Preferred Partner. At the very least you will get free breakfast and $100 of hotel credit, plus potential upgrades. You can contact Emyr via the form here.

Melia

You will get £75 cashback on a £300+ transaction by 31st December.

The list of participating hotels is surprisingly small – given the size of the chain – but includes properties in Marbella, Rome, Tenerife, Madrid, Seville, New York, Amsterdam, London, Milan, Alicante, Berlin, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote, Dominican Republic, Barcelona, Orlando and Paris.

If you have American Express Platinum you can get free Gold status in MeliaRewards. One of the benefits of Gold is a number of ‘20% off’ vouchers for cash bookings which are deposited in your MeliaRewards account each year. These discounts would stack with the cashback.
