Hilton The Gantry winter sale

Some sale inspiration

After a busy Christmas and New Year, it could be a good time to take a break and make the most of the Hilton Sale.

If a city break in the capital appeals, then you could try The Gantry in Stratford, one of Hilton’s Curio Collection hotels.  With its boutique hotel feel and strong design aesthetic – see the exterior photo above – it would be a great base for exploring this increasingly interesting part of town. You’re also only a stone’s throw from central London courtesy of the Elizabeth line, Central Line or Jubilee Line.

Rhys reviewed The Gantry earlier this year – click to read.

Hilton winter sale Lost Property

Another great option for a London city break is Lost Property St Paul’s London (also part of the Curio Collection) in the heart of the City of London. This hotel is in sight of St Paul’s Cathedral and a short walk across the Millennium Bridge to Bankside and Tate Modern.

Rhys has also reviewed Lost Property St Paul’s – click here.

Slightly further afield, you could try something a little different and head to the Hilton Heidelberg in Germany which opened last week.  Hilton Heidelberg is a short stroll away from the historic Old Town with its quaint streets, squares and ancient buildings.  Very accessible from Frankfurt airport, this would make a great, intellectually satisfying, weekend break.

An image is below and the Hilton Heidelberg website is here.

We’ll be reviewing a couple of other interesting Hilton properties – one in London and one in Berlin – before the sale ends to give you some more ideas.

Conclusion

The Hilton Sale is now live and offers savings across a range of hotels in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. There are a few terms and conditions to note before you book:

  • you must book by 30th January 2024
  • your stay must be taken by 8th April 2024
  • full prepayment is required and rooms are not refundable
  • sale rates are only available for weekend stays at participating hotels

You will save up to 20%* off the standard Best Flexible Rate, although note that these sale rooms are not refundable whereas Best Flexible Rate rooms are.

The discount is lower if you are not a Hilton Honors member, but I assume you are (!) as a HfP reader – and if not, you can join for free at the Hilton website.

* Terms and conditions apply and can be found on the sale page of Hilton’s website here.

  • Ben says:

You should probably all write to the ASA to complain.

  • ianM says:

I got Hilton Olympia in January for £87 in the sale which is pretty decent, hopefully get an upgrade to a refurbished room tho cos the standard ones are pretty stinky!

    • Ben says:

At that rate it suggests there is nothing on at Olympia filling up the hotel, so if you’re Gold or Plat you are very likely to be upgraded. I have never not been actually.

      • ianM says:

        Diamond 🙂

I liked it when they had the Exec Lounge but many of the rooms very tired. But for £87 inc breakfast you can’t complain!

  • His Holyness says:

The best thing about a Hilton sale is when it’s over, then rates based on BAR go back to normal.

  • Skywalker says:

Nothing of note with this Hilton sale.

I clicked on a price that I thought was intriguing and it seems it was just clickbait 😕

    • Rob says:

You would have missed the news about Hilton Heidelberg then.

      • Matt Bailey says:
