    Fruit has to much sugar, not good for you – had a coworker who actually said they didn’t eat fruit because of that.

      Did you reply asking whether they thought a slice of chocolate cake fitted the healthy eating bill? After all it conveniently contains eggs, cocoa, flour, sugar and butter or oil in one easy to eat slice.

    There would be a lot of wastage as food can’t be reused on another flight and there’s only so much fruit the crew can eat!

  I believe that economy will get a packet of digestives to share, whereas business will get chocolate digestives!

  You don’t get such benefits on Easyjet! 😂

    I think they might have to offer at least a couple of packs of digestives – even the 400g pack only has 27 biscuits. That’s hardly going to satisfy a full economy cabin.

    And 2 packs wouldn’t even be enough for a full 14 row Club Europe cabin unless the stock answer ” I’m afraid we’ve run out of your first choice” is going to be said. That assumes they have a second choice to offer.

  Air France is still serving a decent free snack on most economy short haul flights. A free and fresh sandwich was served last week CDG-LHR. Plus a choice of sweet or savory biscuits on Hop CMF-CDG.

  More shame on ba! I understand they would not cook a hot meal for you – but ALL other local airlines give something better: Air France, Finnair, KLM, Lufthansa, Luxair, SAS and Swiss I flew in 2023 and you get decent snack and drink onboard. Much better…

    It’s all poor quality / unhealthy food anyway but if people really can’t go a couple of hours without filling their face…… stock up in the lounge pre flight or in a shop if they don’t have status or buy on board or, failing all that, if food offering included in the economy fare is so important to them then they can always fly with one of the other airlines you’ve mentioned.

    Lufthansa, Swiss and SAS are all BOB. SAS will serve something “they” call coffee but I would prefer they charged for it and served something drinkable!

  Had the Gtaze coming down from Newcastle the other day. Definitely wasn’t a smell in the plane afterwards though.
