Hyatt has launched its latest promotion which is another run-out for Bonus Journeys.

Full details, and the registration link, are here.

It runs from 1st March to 30th April, and is a very simple one – you will earn 3,000 bonus World of Hyatt points for every three nights you stay.

For stays in March, this offer will double-up with the offer of 1,000 Etihad Guest miles on every stay, which are earned on top of your World of Hyatt points. Click here to learn about that deal.

Autumn World of Hyatt promotion

You must register by 15th April.

Reward nights DO count. Existing bookings DO count.

Nights do NOT need to be consecutive.

The bonus is capped at 21,000 points, which would require 21 nights.

As well as Hyatt-branded hotels, it is also valid at participating Small Luxury Hotels of the World (for as long as that partnership continues) hotels.

There is an additional bonus for holders of US Hyatt co-brand credit cards, but as that is not relevant for our UK readership I am not going to mention it.

What is this promotion worth?

With 3,000 bonus points for every three nights (not necessarily consecutive), and based on our 1.2p valuation of a World of Hyatt point, you are getting a bonus worth £12 per night.

This is good at cheap hotels but less generous at expensive ones. It also assumes that the number of nights you do during the promotion is an exact multiple of three.

Park Hyatt Vienna Hyatt American Express cashback offer

Don’t forget Hyatt Prive too

You can combine this promotion with Hyatt Prive, the benefits programme offered by luxury travel agents including our partner Emyr Thomas.

Hyatt Prive gets you the following benefits – at no additional cost, compared to the usual Best Flexible Rate – for stays at:

  • all Park Hyatt hotels
  • all Andaz hotels (some cheaper hotels require a 2-night stay)
  • some Grand Hyatt hotels
  • some Hyatt Regency hotels
  • some hotels in The Unbound Collection

You get:

  • $100 property credit per room per stay ($50 or $75 at some cheaper Grand Hyatt and Hyatt Regency hotels)
  • one category room upgrade confirmed within 24 hours of booking
  • daily full breakfast for two
  • early check-in (from 9am) and late check-out (to 4pm) subject to availability
  • welcome gift and letter

Because all Hyatt Prive rates are ‘pay on departure’, you can be sure that they will combine with the cashback. All Hyatt Prive bookings qualify to earn World of Hyatt points and elite night credit.

Click here to learn more about Hyatt Prive, and use the form here to contact Emyr with booking enquiries.

Remember to register for Hyatt’s ‘Bonus Journeys’ promotion here. Registration closes on 15th April but you have until 30th April to stay.

Frustratingly I always seem to be stays outside the Hyatt promotion dates when theses offers are launched, I book well ahead for my flights and for my accommodation as a leisure traveler, but even when they include existing bookings I still fall foul of them, but I’m sure there will be many that can take advantage of this though.

  • Bsi1978 says:

Nice, been waiting for registration to open on this as have 12 night’s in total currently booked.

Existing bookings have counted in the past so hoping this is the case as per Robs capitalised point above.

    Happy Saturday all.

Don’t forget the Hyatt offer on BAPP card.

  • Stu_N says:

Per T&Cs, “ For the purpose of this promotion, an “Eligible Night” is defined as any night where a member is paying an Eligible Rate or redeems a free night award.“

Does this include redemptions? I think they are “eligible rate” but would be good to confirm.

    • Rob says:

      Yes

    • sayling says:

Out of interest, what’s the difference between redeeming a free night award and a redemption? 🤔

      • Stu_N says:

        Thanks Rob

Free Night Awards are certificates for a free night up to a certain category either from milestone awards based on nights stayed, status earned or Brand Explorer for every five different brands.

Redemptions are stays paid for with points.

      • GUWonder says:

A free night award is not priced and paid in points; instead a free night award is priced under and paid using a Category 1-C promo award. Those are also eligible nights for the promo and toward status and milestone awards.

Award nights priced in and paid for with points redeemed. Point redemption nights also count as eligible nights for the promo, status and milestone awards.

        • pauldb says:

This is not correct. Right at the start of the program terms it makes clear that “Free Night Awards” include both points stays and awards received as program benefits. A points stay is a “standard room FNA” (or standard suite / premium suite FNA), as opposed to a “Cat 1-N FNA” or “Brand Explorer FNA”, etc.

          • GUWonder says:

I am talking about what counts as eligible rates with Hyatt and what the difference is between redemption nights (using points) and free night awards in response to what sayling was asking. Both are eligible rates for promos, for status accumulation/retention and for milestone awards with Hyatt.

Also, not all free night awards are equal. For example redemption nights using points for standard rooms at any given Cat X property are more available than they are for Cat 1-X free night awards. The latter is way more capacity controlled than pointe redemptions.

Your friendly long-term Hyatt Diamond/Globalist on the cheap. 😀

  • GUWonder says:

A maximum bonus of 1k Hyatt points per night is a pittance in points. Back before Hyatt transitioned the loyalty program to World of Hyatt, 500-2500 point property bonuses per night were a regular feature and award nights cost far fewer points than nowadays.

I’ll probably get somewhere between 6k and 28k points from this Hyatt promo, but it’s incidental to my stays. The promo is too poor to motivate me to go out of my way to give Hyatt more business. And I say that as a Hyatt Globalist.

  • Talay says:

Can I get this on multiple room at Hyatt ?
