Important dates for your diary – offers about to close which you shouldn’t miss (May ’24)

The aim of this feature is to summarise flight, hotel and points offers that are ending soon.  Everything listed below has been covered on HfP in recent weeks, but years of experience of running offers for HfP readers has made it very clear that a large proportion like to leave things to the last minute ….

It pulls together the different deals mentioned in our daily articles and on our Top Avios Points Earning Offers, Top Hotel Bonus Points Offers and Top UK Credit Card Offers pages.

Hotel promotions and ‘buy points’ offers

Here are registration links for the current hotel promotions from the major chains:

• Hilton Honors – earn double base points on all stays between 2nd May and 2nd September – register here

• IHG One Rewards – earn 2,000 bonus points for every two cash nights you stay (not necessarily consecutive) between 1st April and 31st May – register here

The following hotel ‘buy points’ offers are currently running:

• IHG One Rewards – get a mystery bonus, usually 80%, when you buy points by 8th June – click here

• Marriott Bonvoy – get a mystery bonus of 25% to 50% when you buy points by 24th July – click here

Credit card offers

Sunday 26th May

Last day to (potentially) book an Accor hotel in Europe to earn 1,000 bonus points (stay by 28th May)

Monday 27th May

Last day to get £100 cashback on a £500 Mandarin Oriental booking with American Express

Friday 31st May

Last day for stays to count towards IHG’s new promotion to earn 2,000 bonus points for every two nights (click here to register)

Last day to get 10% cashback at Official Heathrow Parking with American Express (click here to book)

Saturday 1st June

Last day to get £75 cashback on a £300 hotel spend with 19 participating brands in ‘Amex Stays’ (pre-paid stays count, stay whenever)

Tuesday 4th June

Last day to save 25% in the Accor Europe and North Africa hotel sale (all rooms refundable, stay between 5th July and 8th September)

Thursday 6th June

Last day to save 20% on Hyatt hotels in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (stay by 4th January 2025)

Saturday 8th June
