What you get if you redeem Accor points for French Open tennis tickets at Roland-Garros

Last Sunday my wife and I were guests of Accor Live Limitless at the French Open tennis in Paris. This was partly business, allowing me to catch up with the ALL team, and partly to promote the range of Roland-Garros packages that Accor offers.

The packages are good value if you can grab one in 2025 when they come around again, and Roland-Garros – played on clay – is a totally different atmosphere to Wimbledon.

Accor Lounge Roland Garros

Accor Live Limitless is the hotel loyalty programme for Novotel, Sofitel, Ibis, Mercure, Pullman, Raffles and many (over 40!) other brands. We wrote a full guide to the Accor Live Limitless scheme here so I won’t cover it again.

The key thing to know is that redemptions are fully revenue based, with 1 point worth 2 Eurocents off a future hotel booking. There are some upsides with this (you can book any hotel, any room category, any date) but also downsides because there are no ‘sweet spots’.

One way that you CAN get extra value from your Accor Live Limitless points is via Accor Experiences. We are running a competition later this week to give away tickets for the BST Hyde Park 2024 concerts, of which Accor is a sponsor. An exciting new UK venue partnership is also in the pipeline which will provide event tickets across the year.

As a leading French company, Accor has some excellent opportunities to use points for events in Paris and elsewhere. As well as having naming rights to the Accor Arena, Accor Live Limitless is an official partner of the French Open tennis at Roland-Garros.

Tickets packages available for ALL members in 2024 included:

  • Tickets for Philippe Chatrier (Centre Court) and Suzanne Lenglen (No1 Court) from 15,000 points for two as a ‘Buy It Now’ item
  • Tickets for ‘The Legends Trophy by Emirates’, played in the second week on the Suzanne Lenglen court, from 2,500 points for two as a ‘Buy It Now’ item
  • VIP tickets for Philippe Chatrier, including a cocktail lunch or dinner, from 17,000 points for two as a ‘Buy It Now’ item
  • Premium VIP tickets for the Philippe Chatrier or Suzanne Lenglen courts including access to the Accor Lounge in the Partners’ Village, with a cocktail lunch and afternoon tea, or dinner for evening sessions, from 34,000 points for two as a ‘Buy It Now’ item

There were also some auctioned packages, as well as one-off celebrity experiences and ticket raffles.

We effectively had the Premium VIP package which worked well. A photo of the Accor Lounge is at the top of this piece.

The gates opened at 10am, the Accor Lounge opened at 11am and play started at noon. A mix of various Moet & Chandon champagnes was flowing from 11am:

…. and a light buffet was served from 12.30.

Very generously, I was allowed to play with the Men’s Singles trophy during lunch!

Roland Garros Mens Trophy

Play continued until around 6pm. It did rain at one point but there is a roof on the court.

Unlike Wimbledon, companies hold dedicated boxes around the Philippe Chatrier court. This photo shows the Accor box which is very well situated:

Roland-Garros runs evening sessions so you need to leave in the early evening before a new wave of guests arrive for a Centre Court game starting at 8.15pm.

Tickets are still available

As of last night, a handful of tickets are still available for the 2024 tournament. Click through for the relevant page:

The Legends Trophy – 4th June (2,500 points for two people)

Philippe Chatrier centre court seats – 31st May, 5th June, 6th June (from 22,000 points for two people)

Partners’ Village – Suzanne Lenglen Court – 2nd June (68,000 points for two people)

Assuming that ALL.com continues its sponsorship for 2025, you can expect the full range of ticket and VIP packages to be available again next year.

Thanks to the Accor team for their hospitality.

For someone who loves travelling to watch sport, but usually solo, I wish some of these would offer the chance to buy single tickets instead of pairs

Agreed. Also difficult to find a companion who enjoy the same things & fly with me from across the world

Offer them out in the forum surely could ask for 1p per mile or 2c per accor point or 50% of the cost if you can make free transfers

I’d happily go halves on an event that interested me even if I have a +1 I could buy myself (they aren’t always interested and I sometimes like travelling solo)

Ironically I gave a Centre Court Wimbledon ticket back to Amex last week because they only offered me one and it was a Sunday. Didn’t like the idea of telling my wife she had to look after the kids by herself whilst I was knocking the champagne in the Amex suite ….

      +1

I was invited to the Ladies Singles & Men’s Doubles Final at the French Open by Accor Live Limitless as part of service recovery following a significant issue at a previous event hosted by Accor a few years ago.
The hospitality and seats at Rolland Garros were excellent and as a tennis fan it was a fun day. I was surprised that the French were far more interested in the champagne and canapés with many empty seats at Court Philippe-Chatrier throughout the day.

“An exciting new UK venue partnership is also in the pipeline which will provide event tickets across the year.” This is amazing news for me! I only use my accor points for these experiences and it is the reason I stay with them.
I was actually invited to one of their events last month in Oxford (for free) for being platinum, and it was a great day out.

I’m going to Wimbledon on the Sunday, this year, its always a great atmosphere and so quintessentially British, I had the great pleasure of meeting Steffi Graf a few years ago, in the course of the conversation she said she was now too old to play at almost 50, I replied you don’t look a day over 40 love.

  • Kevin C says:

Some of the Accor BST packages have come down in price in the last week or so. Morgan Wallen is now from 5000 points. Stevie Nicks is from 8000.
