American Express launches two new cashback deals

Just days after Qatar Airways launched a generous £300 cashback offer with American Express, Turkish Airlines and Radisson Hotels have jumped in too.

As usual, you may or may not be targeted for these deals. You need to check the list of offers available for registration for each Amex card you hold via the Amex app or website.

Turkish Airlines

Turkish Airlines is offering £100 back when you spend £700 by 2nd December.

American Express launches two new cashback deals

Your flight must depart from the UK. Cumulative spending is OK.

Rhys recently flew to Istanbul on a Turkish Airlines Boeing 787-9 (yes, Turkish runs long haul flat bed aircraft between London and Istanbul on some flights) and you can read his review here.

Radisson Hotels

Meanwhile, Radisson Hotels is offering £50 back when you spend £250 by 20th December.

I’m not sure if this is the same deal as the ‘rarely seen’ Radisson offer which Amex ran recently, but it only popped up on my British Airways American Express card last night.

Cumulative spend is OK. It is NOT just a European offer – there are participating hotels as far afield as Australia. Note that the list of participating hotels provided by Amex on its website is NOT alphabetical, even though it looks like it, so make sure you scroll through it all.

It’s not just Radisson-branded hotels taking part. Park Inn, art’otel, Park Plaza and independent hotels operating via ‘Radisson Individuals’ are also included.

The new Radisson Blu Sheffield, which is the only Radisson we have writen about recently, is not included.

This offer would double-up with the new Radisson bonus points promotion which you can read about here and register for here.

PS. Intriguingly, two hotels are now available under two different American Express offers.

The May Fair Hotel in London has a stand-alone deal of £75 back on a £300 spend (to 15th September) and it is also taking part in this ‘£50 back on £250 spend’ deal. In theory both cashback offers should trigger on the same stay if you are targeted for both.

The new art’otel London Hoxton has a stand-alone deal of £100 back on a £400 spend (to 28th September) and is also taking part in this ‘£50 back on £250 spend’ deal. However, the £100 deal says ‘valid on online spend only’ via its own website so these may not combine.
