Thank you for supporting the BA Community Fund New York competition

Links on Head for Points may support the site by paying a commission.  See here for all partner links.

As we mentioned on Thursday, the British Airways Community Fund is raising money for Alzheimer’s Society and The Royal Albert Hall with a prize draw.

British Airways Holidays has donated a package to New York which includes:

  • two Club World flights on British Airways to New York
  • four nights at a British Airways Holidays four star approved hotel
BA Community Fund New York competition

Entries cost £2 each and the competition closes on 6th January. 100% of your money goes to the two charities.

We mentioned the competition last week when it had made slow but steady progress. It had been running for a few days and had raised £2,000 of the £10,000 target.

Following our article on Thursday, and a follow-up mention in our Saturday newsletter, the competition had raised £14,000 at the time of writing.

Obviously not all of the £12,000 raised in the last four days has come from HfP readers but a large percentage will have – we tracked 1,100 clicks to the entry site from HfP and I’m sure an equal number of clicks came from the combined 60,000 readers of our daily and weekly emails.

Thank you for donating. The fundraising target has already been increased from £10,000 to £15,000 and I suspect it will get raised even higher in the next couple of days.

You can enter here if you haven’t already. You still have three weeks to enter.
