World of Hyatt has brought back its ‘Bonus Journeys’ promotion for the spring.

Full details, and the registration link, are here.

It runs from 27th January to 28th March, and is a very simple one – you will earn double base points on all stays. Hyatt House and Hyatt Place stays will earn triple base points.

If you want to learn more about World of Hyatt, our full review is here.

Spring 2025 World of Hyatt promotion

You must register by 10th March. I really don’t like it when promotions close registration weeks before they end ….

You are capped at:

  • 10,000 bonus points from Hyatt Place and Hyatt House combined
  • 20,000 bonus points from all other brands combined

On the face of it, this is a decent deal:

  • You earn 5 World of Hyatt points per $1 spent ….
  • …. which is 6.1 points per £1
  • Double points would mean 12.2 points per £1 ….
  • …. which at our valuation of 1.2p per point is a 14.6% rebate on your ex-VAT spend
  • …. and elite members will earn even more with their status bonus

At Hyatt Place and Hyatt House, you’d be receiving points worth 22% of your ex-VAT spending, with elite members receiving even more.

Don’t forget Hyatt Prive too

You can combine this promotion with Hyatt Prive, the benefits programme offered by luxury travel agents including our partner Emyr Thomas.

Hyatt promotion spring 2025

Hyatt Prive gets you the following benefits – at no additional cost, compared to the usual Best Flexible Rate – for stays at:

  • all Park Hyatt hotels
  • all Andaz hotels (some cheaper hotels require a 2-night stay)
  • some Grand Hyatt hotels
  • some Hyatt Regency hotels
  • some hotels in The Unbound Collection

You get:

  • $25 to $100 hotel credit per stay, depending on brand (majority are $100)
  • One category room upgrade confirmed within 24 hours of booking
  • Daily full breakfast for two
  • Early check-in (from 9am) and late check-out (to 4pm) subject to availability
  • Welcome gift and letter

Because all Hyatt Prive rates are ‘pay on departure’, you can be sure that they will combine with the cashback. All Hyatt Prive bookings qualify to earn World of Hyatt points and elite night credit.

Click here to learn more about Hyatt Prive, and use the form here to contact Emyr with booking enquiries.

Remember to register for Hyatt’s ‘Bonus Journeys’ promotion here. Registration closes on 10th March but you have until 28th March to stay. The first qualifying day is 27th January.

Thanks Rob. Registered my WoH no.

But not sure if existing booking (pre-book rate, staying next month) would be eligible? T&Cs does not state anything in particular as long as you registered and check-out within the promotional period.

  • Ziggy says:

Historically, Hyatt hasn’t excluded existing bookings from its promotions, so given the absence of any wording in the t&cs that would suggest this has changed, you should be fine.

  • aseftel says:

Not something I’ve looked into, but I think I read that Privé is now available at inclusive resorts: Secrets, Zoetry, Dreams etc.

    • Gordon says:

You won’t really gain much booking an AI through a Privé agent, apart from early check in or late check out, and these are not guaranteed, especially at an AI, as most are at high occupancy the majority of the time, especially in the Caribbean with American tourists, the hotel credit could go towards a spa treatment, as there’s little else to spend it on, but spa treatments are expensive, and $50 or $100 won’t go far, all meals are included, so wipes out the free breakfast, the welcome gift is a minimal benefit, sometimes they are not even received.

If your signed up to hyatt, you should receive quite a few offers for their AI properties, in the form of between 40% to 50% discount, but in reality it’s nowhere near that amount.

You may get a room upgrade in the form of a partial sea view room, if you book a resort view room, but don’t expect a sea front room, I believe these are saved for full cash paying customers.

These properties are great for a relaxing vacation, I’ve not seen much interest from Hfp readers tbh, you can tell by the amount of comments here, resorts are not for everyone, we have stayed at many of the Hyatt Ziva and Zilara properties, and also secrets now they are under the Hyatt Umbrella, if the price is right they are not a bad deal.

If you’re not bothered about earning points, Destination2 have some decent pricing for these properties (from 1st September when it’s hurricane season) sometimes wiping out the points advantage!

@Pauldb and @Niall may be able to give a clearer indication regarding this!

Very much hoping that existing bookings count because I booked a Hyatt House trip a few days ago for next month. I wish they would do a status match as I do like a Hyatt but don’t quite get there enough for status.

  • Stu_N says:

Existing bookings will be fine, always have been for Hyatt promos.

  • CJD says:

Shame I don’t have any Hyatt stays planned between now and the end of March.

  • Vit says:

Rob et al, a slight OT but still Hyatt related.

I booked 3 rooms for myself and family members. All under my name and WoH membership no. I will be staying. Will I get all points under my name? We are talking about ~9000 hyatt points after this promotion. Not a lot but enough for free night at some properties.

  • Wilson says:

Anyone know what happens for a stay between 24th Jan – 31st Jan 2025? Since the promotion only runs from 27th Jan 2025 onwards.
