Hilton has launched its latest sale for hotels in the UK and Ireland.

You can get up to 20%* off participating properties for weekend stays between 2nd May and 7th September 2025.  You must book by 2nd September 2025.

You can see full details on the Hilton website here.

The Caledonian Edinburgh Hilton

Where could you stay in Hilton’s summer sale?

Starting in the north, Hilton has Scottish properties in Aberdeen, Dundee and Dunblane and is very well represented in Glasgow and Edinburgh.

A hotel has stood on the site of The Caledonian Edinburgh, Curio Collection by Hilton since 1903.

This landmark hotel, situated at the top of Princes Street, with great views over the castle and a ten minute stroll from the Royal Mile and Old Town, joined Hilton in 2000. Originally a Hilton and then a Waldorf Astoria, it became a Curio Collection by Hilton hotel last year following refurbishment.

The hotel’s spa includes a two floor fitness centre, indoor pool, whirlpool, steam room and sauna. Spa treatments are available at the weekend.

Cardiff Hilton Indoor Swimming Pool

You may also want to take a look at the Hilton Edinburgh Carlton hotel which has just emerged from a ‘top to toe’ refurbishment.

Turning to Wales, you could stay at the recently refurbished Hilton Cardiff. Close to the city centre and ‘over the road’ from the castle, the hotel is ideally located for the Principality Stadium (within half a mile) and three miles from Cardiff Bay.

The health club at the hotel has just completed a full revamp and includes a heated pool (pictured above), sauna and fitness suite. The Graze Bar and Restaurant is also newly renovated and offers a wide menu with food as locally sourced as possible.

Hilton Belfast room

Moving across the water to Ireland, Rhys reviewed the Hilton Belfast (review here) in 2023 following its refurbishment, and you can see his one bedroom suite above.

The Morrison Dublin, Curio Collection by Hilton

In Dublin, another newly revamped addition to the Hilton family which is worth a visit is The Morrison Dublin, Curio Collection (pictured above) on the banks of the Liffey.

This is the first (and so far only) Curio Collection hotel in Ireland. It’s easily accessible being right by the Jervis Luas light rail stop, and a kilometre from Temple Bar. Look out for Sinead’s review of this hotel coming soon.

Westminster Curio Collection by Hilton

Finally to the south, London is home to many fine Hilton hotels and we have reviewed a fair few on HfP.

For starters, take a look at Rhys’s reviews of all the Curio Collection by Hilton hotels in London for inspiration for your summer staycation

Other recent reviews include Conny’s 2024 review of the well located Hilton London Tower Bridge Hotel (Hilton London Tower Bridge Hotel review here). We think this works equally well for business travellers and tourists, with both easy access to the City and excellent connections around the capital by train, tube and river.

Hilton Bankside Restaurant

We also reviewed the Hilton London Bankside hotel (OXBO restaurant pictured above) in 2024. This is another well located property, close to Tate Modern, Millennium Bridge and the South Bank river walk. A new extension is due to open soon.

Of course this is just a snapshot of what is available to you in the Hilton’s UK & Ireland summer sale, and you can see everything at Hilton’s website here.

  • BJ says:

Just saved £804 on a London weekend in July, I’ll need to reconsider my views on Hilton sales 🙂

    • No Longer Entitled says:

Was this a room you had booked so in effect the saving is really going from a refundable to a non-refundable booking?

      • BJ says:

I booked flexible rates, existing flexible rates at time of booking were around £490/night and stuck there a long time. This morning the rates are about £200 cheaper across the board which may or not be because of sale but I’m very happy regardless. I stuck with flexible. I noticed some other central hotels were way up though ckmoared to what tgey were a few weeks ago. U’ve always been a bit cynical about Hilton sales.

  • Ian says:

Very little if any saving over the non refundable rate for small business.

Added to the dreadful offer by Hilton, one needs to look elsewhere.

  • tony says:

Know it has been said before but with articles like this, I think captions on the photos would be a significant benefit.

I genuinely had no idea that was (I presume) the view from the Curio in Westminster until I opened the image in a separate browser tab to see the filename. But is that from a room, a lift lobby, a bar???

    • Rob says:

There are issues with how captions format since some recent WordPress changes so we’re actually doing it even less than the historic 2% or so of articles!

      • tony says:

Thanks for explaining. I think you’ve added the (pictured above) in response which is certainly helpful, at least to me – and presumably Hilton as well….

  • Tom says:

Sale prices widely available not just at weekends. But hardly noticeable, reward sale would be better.

  • Steven says:

I have 5% cashback on my Curve Card (pro version) as well with Hilton so worth checking yours if making a booking.

    • Rob says:

You should have 25% back (£75 on £300) on Amex though!

      • Euan says:

Paired with the cashback the sale brings the Curio Shoreditch in at less than the refundable booking I have with CitizenM Shoreditch next weekend. Think it might be time for a switch.

      • Tariq says:

Or £50 off £200 on Gold Business.

      • Steven says:

Yes, forgot about that. Could always double dip and use Amex up to the trigger point and then use Curve for excess.

    • tony says:

Also 5% showing on my MBNA for cashback at Hilton. Now I’ve used my AMEX offer, will keep that in mind…

  • Frankie says:

I’ve used this offer to make a booking. I noticed I was Hilton silver when I logged in and I’ve no idea why. I never book via the Hilton website normally. Usually hotels.com. I did have a Hilton credit card about 6 or 7 years ago but closed it AFAIK. I certainly get no correspondence about it. Don’t understand how I’m silver.

  • NorthernLass says:

I would also recommend the Tower Bridge property. I stayed there with 2 friends earlier this year, all in separate rooms, and my gold status got us all breakfast, lounge access and drinks vouchers. Great location for sightseeing (the Tower of London is literally across the road), and nice cocktail bar on the top floor.

    • Tom says:

Hilton Gold does get you free breakfast but not lounge access. For the latter, you need Diamond.

Some (more expensive) rooms may come with lounge access, however. The lounge at the Tower property is decent.

      • tony says:

I suspect what NL meant was they were upgraded to exec rooms in recognition of the status. I had the same at the Bankside property at the start of the week, which was certainly appreciated, and I’m sure there used to be some management link between the two as well.

  • ExpatInBerlin says:

I was already planning on booking a Hilton for an overnight stay in a few week’s time but didn’t get round to confirming it before the sale started. Just checked and the nightly price has gone up by £19 in the last 48 hours, even though it’s being advertised as the “save 20%” sale rate! Silly me for not booking two days ago

    • Tom says:

The problem with any “20% off sale” is 20% off what? Because with dynamic pricing and yield management software, that “full” price can bounce around like a yo-yo.

    • John says:

It will probably go back down when the sale ends unless it gets booked full
