IT’S BACK: Redeem Hilton Honors hotel points for a rooftop British Grand Prix party

Links on Head for Points may support the site by paying a commission.  See here for all partner links.

Hilton operates a Hilton Garden Inn hotel at Silverstone, overlooking the circuit. Unsurprisingly, Hilton Honors is taking advantage of this as the British Grand Prix approaches.

For Practice Day on Friday 4th July, and Qualifying Day on Saturday 5th July, Hilton is throwing a rooftop party.

This is how they describe it:

Hilton Formula 1 rooftop party

Celebrate Hilton’s 20th anniversary with the McLaren F1 Team at the iconic British Grand Prix 2025! Get ready for an unforgettable experience at the home race of the McLaren F1 Team, as you and your guest will attend Friday’s Practice sessions.

Get immersed in the excitement from the exclusive Hilton Garden Inn Silverstone Rooftop, with prime views of all track action and the legendary Hamilton Straight. Enjoy Hilton’s renowned hospitality with free-flowing food and beverage and vibrant entertainment throughout the day.

In addition to your experience, your day is inclusive of the following:

-Head to the Concert Zone to enjoy in-person driver talks at The Main Stage

-Roll up your sleeves and challenge McLaren’s pit stop time at the official F1 Fanzone® Pitstop Challenge

-Champion your inner racing driver and compete against Silverstone lap record at the official F1 Fanzone Racing Simulators

-Explore historic parts of the track at your leisure and observe the iconic 180mph speed of Copse Corner

-Explore the Entertainment Village and Sports Zones

-Giant screen playing live action-packed racing

Please note this package does not include rail or airfare. Parking is limited, therefore complimentary shuttle buses will be available to and from Milton Keynes train station.

The cost is 125,000 Hilton Honors points for two people for Friday and 150,000 points for two people for Saturday.

There is an additional Friday option at 175,000 points which includes a night at the Spark Luton hotel and transfers.

We value a Hilton point at 0.33p so you’re giving up £400-£500 of future free hotel stays if you redeem for this. It is decent value compared to paying cash (general admission is £99 Friday / £179 Saturday, grandstand seats are £300+ for Saturday).

There are 30 pairs of tickets for Friday (plus a further 20 pairs with the inclusive hotel) and 40 for Saturday up for grabs.

In 2023 reader Robin redeemed for the Friday party and wrote a review for us. Click here to see what you will get.

You can redeem via this page of the Hilton Experiences for Friday and this page for Saturday. The Friday option with the included hotel is here.

  • Tony says:

    Saturday now sold out

  • Andrew says:

Weirdly the concert experiences at Wembley don’t mention the band

From what I could see these were Oasis (very high bids) and Coldplay (much lower bids, more dates)

    • Rob says:

This is due to ‘legal issues’, almost certainly.

When we did the competition two years ago to win Elton John tickets there were SUBSTANTIAL issues after Elton’s team saw the article.

  • Russell says:

Note that if you do opt for the additional 50k points to stay at the wonderful Spark Luton, even if you’re a Diamond, you won’t get free breakfast…

    • R2 says:

You missed where it says “including breakfast”.

Also re: 50k extra for the Hotel. You can buy a room at the same hotel and date for 30k. So 20k difference accounts for the transfer – worth it because it takes the worry out of getting to and from the track, invaluable on a F1 Sunday race day. I’m assuming the transport will drop you closest to the Silverstone hotel with minimal walking.
