Hilton Honors has launched what is, almost certainly, going to be the best value hotel ‘experiences’ redemption of 2025 – if you’re a Formula 1 fan.

You can get two tickets to a VIP party at Silverstone to watch the British Grand Prix on Sunday 6th July for just 175,000 Hilton Honors points for two people.

You can redeem on the Hilton Experiences site here.

Hilton operates the Hilton Garden Inn hotel which is built into the circuit at Silverstone, overlooking the Hamilton Straight. The hotel was built with a roof terrace to allow events like this to take place.

This is how the race day event is described:

Immerse yourself in the excitement from the exclusive Hilton Garden Inn Silverstone Rooftop, with prime views of the race and the legendary Hamilton Straight. Enjoy Hilton’s renowned hospitality with free-flowing food and beverage and vibrant entertainment throughout the day and into the early evening.

In addition to your experience, your day is inclusive of the following:

– Head to the Concert Zone to enjoy in-person driver talks at The Main Stage

– Explore the Entertainment Village and Sports Zones

– Giant screen playing live action-packed racing

– Access to post-race celebrations on Hilton Garden Inn Rooftop

No children under 7 are allowed because, well, you’re on a roof. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

To clarify, two tickets for race day, Sunday 6th July, can be redeemed for 175,000 Hilton Honors points. It’s an astonishing deal.

You can redeem on the Hilton Experiences site here.

  • The real Swiss Tony says:

Cunning that this went live the day after the bonus points promo ended…

  • Fazzy Bear says:

How many tickets were left when this article went live?

    • Rob says:

      17 pairs at 9.10am.

It went straight onto social – I suspect those who bought are HfP readers who only follow us via social media and got this as a notification.

SeatSpy never got around to sending a notification.

      • Fazzy Bear says:

The last five went in a blink of eye

        • Rob says:

I know, I was on a train platform in Leeds watching it drop as I refreshed.

          • tony says:

I just checked on the off-chance shortly before 9am. Nothing from SeatSpy, either. Some pairs had already gone, although I see @R2 posted in the daily chat thread at 8.17am, so whilst HfP can take some of the credit for shifting these, a few pairs were gone before the story went up.

          • tony says:

I see the Seatspy alert has just dropped now (1.10pm)…

  • tony says:

At 8.53am there were 17 pairs left.

  • Will says:

Thank you Rob, very enjoyable day last year (if slightly weird set up of loud music and racing being a bit of a side show) got set of tickets for this year thanks to notification from HfP

  • Doommonger says:

As I’ve mentioned before the view is rubbish, the last corner before you can see half the pit straight, obscured by the Vegas branding on the bridge.

However the racing is secondary, as with all corporate sports events, its really about how much food and drink you can accommodate in the time you have allotted. I intend to get there as soon as it opens and stay until I’m turfed out.

    • Andy says:

      Sounds great.

      • Guernsey Globetrotter says:

@Doommonger will be the one at the back with a carrier bag full of bottles and prawn sandwiches, having a sneaky tug on a strange smelling vape…

    • babyg_wc says:

Arguably better than 90% any other viewing area, and 100% better than any view you can buy for equivalent points/££££.. better than the paddock club views……..from the roof you see the start/finish and into most of the pits (better views of the pits vs most due to how the pits were built down low), agree the walkway between the Hilton and the paddock stops you seeing down the straight, but you still have the final few corners etc, and some great views (from a distance) of the podium…

  • Pedro says:

Happened to visit HfP at 0910 this morning to post about a most unfortunate hire car experience last night (see elsewhere).

Perhaps every cloud does have a silver lining because I was able to bag a pair!

    Thanks!

  • Craig says:

“These tickets sold out within 15 minutes of our article going live – sorry”

Pull the other one, it has got bells on!!!!

It drives me mad with these HfP proclamations that you insist on repeatedly making…

It’s like me randomly shouting on a Saturday morning that Greggs “have sausage rolls” from my town centre, and then claiming they subsequently didn’t have any left *exclusively* because of me…

Yes HfP is what it is (and good you are to) but you simply cannot directly evidence the link between the sales of these packages to your HfP comms.
It’s simply impossible, so please, please, PLEASE desist seeking to proclaim such nonsense!!!!!

    • Rob says:

Except we can. R2 posted at 8.17 that they had gone up and 17 sets were left. Tony got one, emailed me and I put our article up at 9.10. 16 sets were left at this point, so one had gone in 55 minutes. We instantly pumped it out across our social channels which reach over 100,000 people. All tickets were gone by 9.25.

Because the Hilton website is broken (they don’t show under UK events) you can only really see new listings at present via screenscraping, which I believe is what R2 does and is definitely what SeatSpy does.

    • Will says:

Regardless of who was responsible for the redemptions and how they discovered them, if they sold out within 15 mins of the article going live then that’s factually correct.

I got 2 sets and I knew through HfP so you can chalk at least 2 pairs up directly from HfP for a start.
