Get a 100% bonus when you buy IHG One Rewards points

IHG One Rewards is offering a new 100% bonus for buying points.

This offer runs to 17th July.

The maximum number of points you can buy is 400,000 (ie 200,000 plus the 200,000 bonus) although this can vary.  The minimum purchase to trigger the bonus is 5,000 points on my account but, again, this could vary.

With a 100% bonus, you would be able to buy up to 400,000 IHG One Rewards points for (at current exchange rates for $2,000) £1,465.

I usually value IHG One Rewards points at 0.4p.  You are paying 0.37p here so it is not necessarily a slam dunk unless you are just topping up your account, although you shouldn’t lose money either. The skill is to use them at hotels where you can get substantially more than 0.4p per point of value, although this got a little harder since IHG reward prices started getting more closely related to cash rates.

Get up to 10,000 bonus Avios with Qatar Airways

Qatar Airways has launched a new bonus Avios offer for Privilege Club members who book a cash flight this month. Details are here.

You will receive:

• 2,500 bonus Avios for an economy flight
• 5,000 bonus Avios for a business class or First Class flight

If you are travelling to Australia:

• 5,000 bonus Avios for an economy flight
• 10,000 bonus Avios for a business class or First Class flight

You must:

• book by 31st July 2025
• travel by 31st March 2026

You need to use code UKIAVIOS when booking.

Flights need to be credited to a Qatar Airways Privilege Club account, but you can transfer the Avios across to a British Airways Club account for free afterwards if preferred.
