Hi- Thank you for the responses to date.
@JJ yes I switched to from my iMac to an iPad with the same result. on selecting ‘make payment’ it briefly flashes up a screen requesting “additional bank responses” to authorise but nothing is detailed and it quickly disappears to reveal a screen stating I haven’t completed the missing fields – which I had (the 3 digit cvv)
@stevenhp 1987 – Thank you for the explanation. I don’t have a curve card. I paid the deposit with my BA Amex Plus – which I have always previously used without issue. Your comment regarding the BIN is unnerving. If-as it implies-this is a business Bin it means I would need to select the MasterCard Business card and pay the surcharge – negating the point of having a personal CC!
Hopeless situation in that Barclaycard don’t know why its not being accepted and BA won’t answer the phone!!
