Reply To: Barclays Premier Account, can’t sign up for Barclays Avios Rewards on app

I’m having issues signing up for Avios Rewards in my Barclays app.

I already have a Barclays current account and the Barclaycard Avios Plus card. I earn just under £75k, although I have had more than £40k deposited in my account in the last 12 months. I also have more than £100k saved with Barclays, so have upgraded to Premier banking in the app.

However I am unable to switch on Avios Rewards in the app. I turned off the Blue Rewards I was paying £5pm for, but when I try to turn on Avios Rewards, the button to select my Premier account to take the £12pm fee from is greyed out and I can’t select it. I also had a few errors at different times trying to get to that screen.

I contacted chat, and they only said to switch the device off or log out. I also tried on my PC but get errors. The only other thing they said was to wait 48 hours and try again, as thats how long it can take for the Blue Rewards to be removed from my account (it has now been removed but same issue still).

Wondering if anyone else having same issues?
