Sorry to hear of your loss.
check the flight number if it’s changed then it’s legally a cancellation whatever they call it, and they will owe you rerouting costs, which your ex GLA flight should count as, as well as compo.
You can sort it out when you get home. For now, best to let the airline know you can’t depart at their proposed new time as that time can no longer meet the purpose of your trip. A call or attempted calls (3 or so if you cant get through) or tweet will be enough then sort it out later.
