The easiest thing would just be to call BA and have them book the whole thing for you, with the regional connections. You can’t ask for half the avios back, that just with the Amex voucher. BA can book you both on one PNR, though come to think of it I don’t actually know if you need to be in a HHA for this?
The problem with that is I need to grab the outward flights before the return flights are released, if I wait and do it all together I almost certainly won’t get my outward ones. There’s 3 weeks between.
