@Pangolin, that was based on observing behaviour on a Greek beach last week. About 20% of the bathers were nude, with women probably being the majority of those. Many other women were topless. A power boat entered the bay, dropped anchor close to shore and the two men on board sat staring at the beach while the two women on board chatted at the back of the boat.

Within 5 minutes, almost all the nude and topless bathers had rolled over onto their fronts or put their bathers on. Most nude swimmers left the water immediately.

After a about an hour the boat left. Bathers were once again removed and people once more lay on their backs. And, in case you’re wondering, my wife observed the behaviour, not me.

Except for the Instagram set, people don’t want to be watched.
