The other potential option is
Outbound – all 4 of you – 2 x companion vouchers
Inbound – you 1 x companion vouchers, 4 x full price for kids/grandparents
Grandparents home – barlcays vouchers
The reason being that the barclays vouchers don’t allow you to select anything other than the highest Avios value so may not be best value. You’d need to run the sums and see – also depends on what other plans you’d have for the vouchers as this approach wastes them a bit
