That’s really helpful Alex thank you. Would probably prefer to come home on that flight and pursue the claim than spend more time here.

My e-ticket says;

“GBP900.00 + Tax/Fee/Charge GBP0.00 = GBP 900.00”

So I think your example maths are correct.

Let’s see what happens and now I know the options I can get on with the rest of my holiday and not stress about it.
