RJ is an entirely different program to BAEC and has nothing to do with it, other than the fact BA Bronze & RJ Silver Jay are both OneWorld Ruby.
If you sign up to the RJ status match your BAEC will continue as is. Which means you’ll drop down to Blue with BA.
Your RJ Silver Jay would then last for a year from the date it was matched.
Why would signing up to RJ alter your BAEC in any way?
