Whereabouts are you based, and what is your budget per person? I can think of a few places worthwhile even with the Christmas Day inflation you will have.
If it was still available, Moor Hall would have been the top of the list, and nothing else. However, it looks like that is not possible.
Thornton Hall on the Wirral tend to do a good Christmas Day dinner or carvery. If you want views and good food, then 20 Stories in Manchester would be good, though I would expect the prices to be much higher than other options.
