In Spain we don’t really do organised excursions because it’s so easy to drive everywhere to our own timetable or use public transport. Lanzarote is a great place to drive because outside the towns and resorts the roads are really quiet and you can feel quite alone.
I would think the hotel would be able to help with anything you wanted to do though. A trip through the volcanic landscape and to the green lake is quite other-worldly. We haven’t been to La Graciosa yet but planning to do that this time. There’s a nice mirador with a restaurant up at that end of the island with amazing views of La Graciosa and the other smaller islets.
*We’ll be there Oct 6th to 16th, as long as Iberia don’t do too much more messing around with our flights, then back to Madrid for a week touring the battle sites of the Peninsula War!
