I much prefer the location of the IC. It’s right in the middle of the action, BTS station on the doorstep and there’s a covered pedway connecting you to the rest of the district – ideal if it’s raining or if you’re jetlagged.
By comparison, the Kimpton is on a bit of a side street. It’ll be a 10 minute walk to get anywhere or a taxi (cheap and plentiful, but the traffic can be horrendous at rush hour or if it’s raining).
