Re Car Hire : on BAH bookings, if the car hire is picked up late at night (say 1130pm) on the arrival date, is this still counted as part of the 5 days of car hire? Just seen on some older threads reports about a silent rule for 24hrs car hire x 5 , not just the day of pickup as booking says. Would like to know if this is something to worry about or just not an issue and any valid 5 day stay in a destination, with car hire that covers those inbound/outbound days, is enough. Thanks.
The key appears to be, like the hotel requirement, to book the car for five nights, so not necessarily 5 x 24hrs. The pick up and drop off times don’t matter.
