I understand to book an open jaw 2-4-1 I’ll have to do so by telephone.
Is there a specific phone number to do so and/or can I call the Silver Exec Club phone number?
Any of the BAEC staff can do it, but I find it easier to just book each leg separately then use Twitter or Chat to request half the avios back. It’s even more convenient now that RFS pricing means you don’t get fleeced for surcharges on US routes.
What’s RFS?

Wouldn’t it be useful to have a list somewhere on this site for all the acronyms and abbreviations that are used?
I’m often left wondering
As usual, I urge everyone to read as many articles and threads on their chosen subject as they possibly can before putting things into practice. If people took the advice on here and read up on all this stuff before plunging into the minefield of booking avios seats, they would know what the acronyms mean and also find it much easier to use their avios and vouchers in the way they actually want to! If you don’t know that BA moved to RFS pricing on long-haul 6 months ago (I haven’t got time to expand on acronyms, sorry!), you’re likely to encounter some very significant pitfalls when booking award flights, especially with a companion voucher.
