I’ve been on the fence about applying for the 80k bonus on the Platinum card, and trying to figure out how to get the 95K geo-targeted offer mentioned by Rob in the article.
I’m in Bristol this afternoon, using 5G on my mobile waiting for new tyres on my car, and an Amex ad for the Platinum card popped up on TikTok (don’t hate me!)
I clicked through to apply and the page served up the 95K offer, not the 80k I’ve been seeing up to this point. Applied using my mobile phone and got accepted.
Unfortunately sharing the ad page isn’t allowed, but I suspect it came up because my mobile browser has visited several related pages over the past few days, including HfP and Amex homepage.
Anyway, thought this might help someone force an ad on the socials using your mobile.
