A380 on LHR>DXB route?

I’m trying to work out if we will be flying in a plane with Club Suite or not.
BA0107 LHR>DXB on 3rd Dec.
When logged in on the BA website I can’t see the seating map for this flight, just get a message “Visit the website of the airline you’re flying with to select your seats. You may be able to do this before check in.” Nice one BA, the flight is operated by yourselves.
Anyway, SeatGuru seems to suggest this flight is a A380 which doesn’t have Club Suite. They seem to suggest from the 30th Oct it’s an A380 on this route only. Is anyone able to actually confirm? Would be disapointed if that is the case, I assumed we would finally get to be in a Club Suite cabin, we keep ending up on the older planes, 1st world problems climbing over someone to go to the toilet I guess.
Also any idea why I can’t pay to select a seat right now?
Doing a dummy booking on BA, and checking flight details this says A380.
And don’t use SeatGuru for seat maps – out of date. Use aerolopa dot com instead
I think it’s very often an A380 (that might not be your only issue, they tend to have a lot of tech issues and are regularly delayed on that route!)
Have you tried selecting seats before now?
We flew on this last December and I managed to get 2 of the best seats on the upper deck (possibly 53 J & K but you’d need to double check). There was so much personal space and privacy it was even better than CS. No climbing over anyone to get to the toilets – which incidentally are huge spaces up there!
As to why you can’t select a seat now, maybe they’re still in the process of confirming an equipment change?
Can you see a ticket number in the BA app?
It is a A380, unlikely to change at this late stage so you should be able to select a seat
Managed to fly the A380 last year in F (on my bucket list). Fantastic aircraft. Took a tour around (via the roped-off stairs at the front) – my god it goes on forever! Enjoy – I don’t think they will be around long
I was also very excited for my first “upstairs” experience! It was great use of the Barclays voucher, the meal was Xmas dinner, and we got £520 back from BA for being 3 hours delayed, so all in all a flight which holds fond memories 😂

We still can’t select seats, going to wait 24 hours then call them up. Probably some IT issue as they had to cancel our original outbound flight to book us on this one to get the reward seats. On our inbound flight I can see/change seats still.
I think I prefer A380 with CW to 777 with CS but with A380’s lack of reliability at the moment you never know what plane you’ll actually be on when you fly

You should see a ticket number 125-xxx in the app against the flight. If you only see a – then they haven’t reissued the ticket yet and you won’t be able to select seats. When did you make the change?

This morning over the phone. I can’t see any ticket number in the app, but this may be because it was booked under my wife’s account. I will ask her to check tonight.
Oh it’s likely still in the queue then. If it doesn’t happen in a week or so worth a quick call to check it’s queued correctly

Yeah still not showing. My wife said the agent would have to pass it onto some e-ticket dept to sort out.
Will give it till Monday then give them a call to chase.
