I have around 2,500 American Airlines points about to expire. Rather than let them die, is there anything at all useful I can do with them at this late stage?

I’m just not sure you’ll be able to find anything to book for 2500 points 😬
Thanks I think you’re right. I see there’s options to donate miles to one of AA’s charity partners. I’ll do that I think rather than let them disappear.
No worries – side note, I signed up for Miles for Opinions, but never got offered any surveys. (In fact, I’d forgotten I’d done it until I got an email notifying my account had been locked due to too many incorrect logins the other day!)
And done. That’s my good deed done for the planet before I fly to the USA with BA and dump CO2 into the atmosphere again. #environmentallyaware
You could stop your Aavantage miles expiring by linking your Hyatt account (https://world.hyatt.com/content/gp/en/rewards/american-airlines.html), you earn 1 point per US$ – assuming you use Hyatt once every two years.
