Heading for a short break in 2 weeks, any food recommendations please (and do they ever issue upgrades – as only Gold status). Hoping to get Amex credit even though spending in €, but won’t get 2nd stay bonuses (nowhere near and cheap enough for a mattress run beforehand for just 4k points)

Having a meal or a snack and drink on the terrace at the Parador next to the Gibralfaro castle (which is lovely to visit itself) is a very pleasant experience. Views over the city and surrounding area are fantastic.
